Background
Wilson Tax & Accounting is a well-established accounting practice with a full-time staff of seven professionals. The firm was started in 1958 by Bob Wilson and is now led by the brother-sister team of Scott and Kim Wilson. Over the past 10 years, they have grown the practice successfully, which required a recent expansion into new corporate headquarters.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help clients maintain financial viability in the present while taking a proactive approach to achieve future goals. This requires open communication to reach an understanding of our clients' needs, thorough research, and sound analysis. Wilson Tax & Accounting Services is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism.
Our Team
Kim Wilson has 25 years of accounting experience and is the co-owner of the firm. She oversees and manages all tax deadlines and has the role of managing partner. Kim loves working with and meeting new business owners. She is passionate about helping individuals be financially successful and save money on their taxes. She enjoys spending time with her family, swimming and her dogs.

Scott Wilson is an Enrolled Agent and senior tax partner in the firm. He consults with clients on business startup and growth strategies. He enjoys explaining the numbers in easy-to-understand terms to create value and ensure proper tax planning. Scott is a seasoned expert in preparing income taxes for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Scott has an extensive background in the restaurant and grocery industry and owned a car accessories business. He enjoys spending time with his three children, traveling and golfing.

Sarah joined the firm in 1999 and has since dedicated her life to payroll. She enjoys working closely with her clients and giving them the personal attention they deserve. She handles all aspects of payroll for our firm, including initial setup, check writing, garnishments, tax payments, quarterly forms, and year end forms. When she’s not working she’s raising her two beautiful daughters Jasmine and Trinity. She also enjoys reading, writing, and reality t.v.
Jim has been a CPA for more than ten years. He specializes in gas stations and corporate income taxes. Originally from Taiwan, Jim became a U.S. citizen several years ago. He is a very hard worker and sharp as a tack!
Cheri Wolf joined our outstanding team in June of 2009. She was born and raised in the Ballard/Greenwood area and loves the Northwest. She has the privilege of working side by side with Scott and the rest of the team. She has proven to be a positive and reliable asset to our team; helping out in many areas of the firm.
Cheri enjoys spending time with her husband, Jerry and her beautiful daughter, Bailey. They love to hang out in Eastern WA at their summer place on the Columbia River. It gives them time to read, ride bikes, play in the water, and soak up the sunshine!
Gregg moved here from the Midwest after college and started a business in 1992. He grew his own business for 18 years until the recent sale of his company. He enjoys meeting and working with people that have his same entrepreneurial spirit. He joins our team after having Wilson Tax and Accounting as a client since 1995. He enjoys scuba diving and spending time in Eastern Washington at his cabin with his wife and two children.
Rolene Claflin is a recent addition to our team, as she joined our firm in 2011. She earned an accounting degree from Eastern Washington University and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She has over 25 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper in various industries including construction, retail and non-profits.
Rolene is interested in sewing, cooking, and reading. She enjoys spending time with her husband and four daughters, as well as her Siamese cat “J.T.” who likes to join the rest of the family in long car rides!
Laura Bolser is the newest member of our team. She joins us after co-owning and managing an HVAC company. She enjoys the challenge of working with numbers and, of course, making them balance!
Laura’s greatest joy is her family which consists of two grown daughters and two beautiful granddaughters. When not involved with her family, she spends her free time traveling to sunshine and water, remodeling, gardening, reading and exercising.
